Behavioral Health

Behavioral health

State Health Plan coverage includes behavioral health benefits. Companion Benefit Alternatives (CBA) provides behavioral health management services. For general questions, such as if a service requires prior authorization, call CBA at 800.868.2520.

There is no limit on the number of behavioral health visits allowed if the care is medically necessary under the terms of the Plan, and there is not an annual or lifetime maximum for behavioral health benefits. Some services require prior authorization by CBA.
