No-Pay Copay encourages members to be more engaged in their health – and saves them money. By completing certain activities in RallySM each quarter, members can receive certain generic drugs the next quarter at no cost. Covered conditions include:

  • High blood pressure and high cholesterol.
  • Cardiovascular disease, congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease.
  • Diabetes.

No-Pay Copay will pay for certain generic medications to treat your condition. All you need to do is complete a few simple health-enhancing activities each quarter. Each activity earns you points. When you earn at least 25 points in a quarter, you will receive your benefit the following quarter. Certain annual activities, such as getting a flu vaccine, are also good for 25 to 50 points. You must earn 150 points in total by the end of the year, combining points earned for quarterly and annual activities, to receive your benefit the first quarter of the following year.

Here are a few of the possible activities from which to choose and the point values for each.

Activity Points earned
Connecting with a health coach or participating in health coaching program 25 points
Completing a Rally condition-specific Mission 15 points
Completing a cost estimate 10 points
Reading a health education article or taking a quiz 10 points
Annual activities (doctor’s appointment, flu vaccine, health survey, dental cleaning, etc.) 25-50 points each

Rally will track your progress quarterly. If you miss the deadline for an activity, you will lose the special rate for prescriptions. However, you can earn it back for the next quarter by completing your activities on your Rally dashboard. Complete your quarterly activities by the following dates to avoid delays when using your No-Pay Copay benefits:

  • March 23, 2021
  • June 22, 2021
  • September 21, 2021
  • December 21, 2021 (Annual activities must also be complete.)

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina (BlueCross) identifies eligible members and mails an invitation to join the program. Participants must then register for Rally to complete activities. Call BlueCross at 800.868.2520 for more details.
